It all starts with a block of wood. In this case it's basswood from northern Minnesota.
After drawing the initial guide lines the excess wood is carved away.
Rough cut the door and windows.
Use a V-tool to cut in the guide lines for the chimney, roof, walls, and bricks.
Use a drill and a gouge, through the windows, to remove the excess wood within the interior in order to see all the way through the house.
Use the air powered engraver to cut the wood panel lines and nails. Also, use a gouge to round off the chimney rocks.
Once all og the rough edges are sanded smooth apply a coat of Boiled Linseed Oil.
